First it rained, then the sun came out - the weather at the Festbier tasting was a rollercoaster of emotions. But at 7 p.m. on the dot, a little help from above (maybe?) made the sun shine for the 100 or so guests who had come to the Liebesinsel in Abensberg. The rain stopped - and the Festbier was tapped! After greetings from politicians and the Weihenstephan brewery, the candidates for the Dirndl Queen election were introduced. The official part was then over - and people were able to enjoy themselves with free beer under a clear sky.
