The 19th Weihenstephaner Bergfest on August 5 has a lot in store for you: The best beer, tasty delicacies and the finest entertainment. The many employees of the Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan have made sure of that.

First things first: the beer price! And here we remain unbeatably cheap - the Maß Bier costs 6 euros, half a liter 3 euros. Cheers! And if you are more into the drinks without alcohol: The non-alcoholic beverages such as lemonade, apple spritzer, Spezi and water are available for 2 euros.

We will also spoil you with culinary delights: Crunchy Piller-Brezn, rotisserie chicken, spare ribs and pork knuckle from Hertl, from Schuhbauer we have spinach and vinegar dumplings, burgers, grilled sausages in a bun, fries as well as Aperol and Hugo. Is that all? Not even close!

We continue with our friends from the Gasthaus und Biergarten Plantage, who offer grilled fish and ice cream, the Orangerie brings something completely new to the Weihenstephan hill with a variety of snack plates, steak sandwiches and bagels, and Süßwaren Koller provides the right desserts for those with a sweet tooth. And if it gets too warm: The Eiscafé Venezia offers homemade ice cream!

By the way, there is musical entertainment, too! The Stadtkapelle Freising will start with Bavarian brass music, between their sets the marching band of the Freising Volunteer Fire Department will play, before the band Take Five heats up the hill with party music, starting at around 6 p.m.

For the little ones among us there will be a bouncy castle, a carousel, face painting, children's dancing, an exercise course and a miniature railroad - we are celebrating a party for everyone!

And that's not all, because Weihenstephan's brand ambassador Matthias Ebner and Beer Educator Susanne Hönig have prepared another special. There will be three guided tastings during the day for only five euros contribution towards expenses. Tickets are available at the merchandise store!
